I've lost our marriage certificate

I am just so upset about it!  I wanted to go get my name changed at the bank today (attempt #3 at our bank!) and it wasn't filed away where it should be.  The last time I had it was to go to the bank to get my name changed too.  I have contacted the Registrar's office in Jamaica and I just hope I get another copy soon.  I need to get my passport updated before our trip to MX in Oct.

My mom even came over and ransacked our home with me!  And goodness love her, she even went through our 4 foot tall can full of recyclables with me..."just in case".  DH told me that it has to be here and that I "probably just had another scatter-brained moment"...*thanks Honey!*  

So I am just venting...just sad about it...and mad that 4 hours of my day off were spent going through every nook & cranny in this house!  So much for my to-do list! 

Thanks for reading...and I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.  We are lake-bound...and I made sure I have plenty of beer.  I might go ahead and have one...my nerves are on end and that should help!

Aw, I know how frustrating it is spend hours looking for something so important!  I lose things around the house (or in my car) all the time and they usually show up.  I hope you find it soon!

Ugh, I did that right before we left for our wedding with documents that we needed to bring with us. Of course they turned up after I stopped looking for them.

DH does that ALL.THE.FREAKING.TIME. He puts things in a "safe" place where he'll remember it and then he forgets where he put it. All the freaking time.

 Anyway, point being that it will turn up! No worries! Have fun at the lake and make sure to throw something at your husband.

Thanks, Ladies!  I sure hope you're right...but I have no idea where they could be!  And I am always so dang organized...of course I can't quit looking for them.  Between that and checking my email to see if the Registrar's Office has emailed me back, I might drive myself quite batty!

ugh that sucks, I'm sorry.  I hate when I lose stuff and have to spend forever looking for it.  Hopefully the new one arrives soon
