Where to buy? I realized that we are all out and I need a backup pair and ones for my
alarm clock battery backup. They are always sooo expensive. Wondering if there's a good place to buy them for less. Thanks.
Re: Best AA rechargeables?
You should definitely check into pre-charged rechargeables. They hold their power in low drain devices (so things that don't get used constantly like a remote control, smoke detector, etc). The regular rechargeable batteries would die super fast in a remote control or smoke detector, but the pre-charged ones will last 6 months in our remote.
I know both Duracell makes them. I think we also have Sony Eneloop ones. They can be charged in a normal NiMH charger, so you don't need to replace one if you've already got one.
I think I usually end up grabbing mine at RiteAid. I don't know that it's the cheapest place to buy them, but they seem to go on sale pretty often and they make it conveniently coincide with my monthly prescription pickups. : )
