My computer has a virus. I am going to get a new computer. How do I backup itunes. It is 6 gb. Do you just put it on a lot of cds? I switched computers before and I had to reload all my music again. Since then I have purchased a lot of music and iphone apps from itunes not sure how to do it. I know once I did a backup of music purchased off itunes, but I would really like it to do all my music so I won't have to redo everything, Does this make sense?
Re: backing up itunes
Here's the Apple Support article on how to backup your iTunes to an external hard drive.

And here's their support article on how to backup to cds or dvds

Before importing/restoring to your new computer, you will want to scan the external drive or discs for viruses to ensure your viruses/worms/trojans weren't written to any of the files you backed up.
