Having a panic attack....

Just got a letter from LCC. H has been waiting on  a reply to see if he got into the accelerated nursing program. And he didnt have enough points. Super Angry He is 3 points short. We have been trying to get in the program since we got married two years ago. There is no way he can increase his points.

I am so effing frustrated. We have been waiting TTC until he was done with school and now we have to put it off another year. We have already signed up for insurance through my work, now we dont need it.

H is at work, so I cant tell him. And that wouldnt be very nice at all, because he will just worry about it till he gets home.  Errr.....

Re: Having a panic attack....

  • I'm so sorry...I don't know what else to say. I hope your weekend gets better.  Sad
  • I'm so sorry. What would be next for you guys then if he can't increase his points? I'm not sure how it all works, so that may be a dumb question.
  • He can try again next year for the part, full or accelerated program or try to get into the MSU program, which I heard is even harder to get into than LCC. Either way it sucks because it adds more years onto our plans.

  • How many points did he have? I had 57 points. I am sorry he didn't get in Sad

P.S. People who got accepted have to accept admission by July 16th so there is still a chance that he will get offered a spot if people drop out.  Has he looked into Baker College in Owosso? I have a coworker that is doing their program. He would have to go the two years since it isn't accelerated but it is an option to look into.

  • He had 52... They accepted 55. We might have to think Baker, they are just so much more expensive.

  • The points to get in have gone up every year for the last three. A bunch of people must have had a masters degree to set the bar so high this time around. will pray that some people drop out and your H gets offered a spot.I am sure the program could use some testosterone.
