So, what do you ladies think about this heat?
It's a little too hot for me...but I'm glad we are having a weekend without rain!! We worked in the yard last night for a good hour and Haley did great for about 90% of the time. It's nice that she's a little older this year and can play outside more while we work. Last year it was almost impossible to get yardwork done.
Today we went to a 30th birthday party for one of my friends and tomorrow we have an open house. What are you ladies up to this weekend?
Re: So, what do you ladies think about this heat?
I think I will go to the dogpark and try to not freak out too much about things. Perfect day to take dog swimming.
I am not much of a heat person and tend to hide inside with the AC on.
It sure got hot today, that's for sure.
This morning we woke up to find our cat laying half in his water dish and not moving. He has urinary tract disease and has had many issues before, but he's never been this bad. He has a blockage, dehydrated and in a lot of pain so he'll be at the vet for a few days. I guess he had a lot of blood in his urine that they got out with the cath. Poor kitty!
Today we went to Trader Joe's and bought tons of groceries for the month. I seriously LOVE that place!!! I'm currently eating some salsa and chips from there. haha Yeah, that doesn't exactly help with the weight loss.
Tomorrow I think we're going to stick around most of the day, but may go to an auction in Charlotte. It's at the American Legion at 2:00 and the proceeds go toward children who's parents are serving overseas.
