Droid X
Is anyone else getting this?
I ordered an HTC Incredible at the start of the month and still haven't received it. My ship date is supposed to be the 28th but it's all over the Android boards that there is now at least a 5-day delay, if not more, on top of current ship dates. At this point, I doubt I'll get it before the Fourth of July, and getting the X would only take me out the 15th.
The biggest downside I see is the size, although I always carry my mobile in my purse (rather than my pocket) anyway. Everything else about it is supposed to be kick-ass. For those who are interested to know more about it, click here.
It's very tempting to make the switch...

I have been researching smartphones for the past two months and these past few days for hours each day. I don't have a smartphone now so I have no idea what I want. I spent a couple of hours the other night at the mall playing with different ones at different carrier stores. Of course the droid x isn't out yet. And the iphone 4 is on back order. But I don't even know if I need to go with the latest model as I have no idea what I am doing. I can't text worth a crap.
DH keeps telling me to get the latest whether it be the iphone4 or the droid x or the samsung galaxy s. But until I can play with them in my hands I dont' know if I will be able to work them. I was a total clutz the other night trying to type. The only smartphone I have had any succes in typing on was my friend's iphone 3gs.
Just from what I have read though that samsung galaxy s is the one I think I want. It is coming out as the Captivate with ATT and Vibriant with TMobile.
I am on TMobile now but my contract is done so I can switch and Tmobile's coverage sucks so I know I want to leave them.
I have the HTC Evo which uses Android and I love it! The Incredible and the Droid X look sweet too!
