BJs rave: Gardein

I was at BJs last night and noticed they had Gardein products... chicken scalopini and chicken fingers for $9.99 for 12 or 17 servings.  I like that brand because they don't use GMO soy and I can pronounce all the ingredients.  It's a great option for a last minute meal when I didn't have time to cook.

  • It's interesting to see how everyone's tastebuds are different, DH and I have tried a couple of gardein products and to us they were all Ick!

  • I don't know what BJs or Gardein are, but hooray for non-GMO soy!

  • I had a stuffed chicken thing before and it was just ehh.  I liked the trader joe's one better.

Today was my first time having this chicken scallopini and it was SOOOOOOOOOOO good.  Basically just a chicken patty with a bit of seasoning.  It really really tasted like chicken.  I would have made another if it wasn't something I took to have for dinner at my class.

  • Mmmm...we found the 7-Grain Crispy Tenders at our local Costco and are on our third bag.  We LOVE those things.  Though we've tried the "beefless tips" and the "wings" and those were terrible.
