I live in Las Vegas and my mother is coming into town Thursday the 1st till the 6th. Since I am a local and stay away from the strip. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to take her. If they did some tours that were very interesting or a show they enjoyed ( I was thinking Mystere).
Any ideas will help.
TIA
Re: Weekend Planning!
I love it here! Its great there are people always visiting you lol and gives you an excuse to go out gamble a little have some fun lol! Well as far as jobs for a female there are a lot and ones that pay well. I go to school here and there are a lot of girls that I know that work as cocktail waitress, dealers, hosts that make 50,000(min) to 80,000. I do a lot of modeling out here and make great money while I go to school. So if you are looking for a career then it is hard to get a job here, if you are looking to make good money on the strip as "waitressing" black jack dealing then yeah you can make good money and easy to get in.

I love visiting Vegas. Some of my favorite things to do/see (especially with a mixed crowd -- not sure if your mom is more "low key" or "up for anything") are:
Madam Tussauds Wax Museum (Venetian)
Phantom (Venetian)
The CocaCola/M&M world (near MGM)
Margaritaville (Flamingo, I think)
I've only been to one Cirque show, and that was Zumanity: The Sensual Side of Cirque de Soleli. It's somewhat risque, but I wouldn't say over the top at all. In fact, in Vegas terms, it's probably one of the more mild burlesques. Though, we did go to the "early show" (7:30) so I don't know if that one is more tame or not.
