We had a great time in ptown and got sooo lucky with the beautiful (albeit HOT) weather! Rosebud loved loved loved splashing in the ocean, and Sprout got to experience a ton of new things for the first time (catching crabs, boat ride, movie theater, baseball game, amusement park, drag queens!, ect). We are strongly considering going again for a long weekend before the summer is over.

I just saw the pictures from your blog! You look like you guys had a great time!!! The kids are adorable!!!
We are good - although it is hotter than blazes here (100 for a few days in a row!) I took the kids swimming for the first time this summer this weekend (they've been swimming daily with school) and it was so nice and so fun. My ILs are here this weekend - and while I generally like them and enjoy their visits, PMS has taken over my body, making me irritable and exhasuted - and generally a crappy hostess.
hello! I'm still here! :-D
we had an up and down weekend. her mom and aunts got back from their trip friday, so we picked them up from the airport and they all stayed the night at our house. we ended up sleeping on the couchand loveseat since they'd been travelling all day, but that was not good for her back.
saturday we had a good morning with one of her aunts (her mom and other aunt headed home early since they were driving). we went out for breakfast and then to a farmer's market with her, my SIL and her GF before going back to our house for some cards, and then we took her to the airport. after that we all went to a local festival that I used to love, but I was over it pretty much as soon as we got there. it was hot and humid and crowded and we didn't have the stroller with us so we had to carry the baby. I was a couple of friends that I don't very often and I got a lemon shake up, so that was nice, but other than that I was just ready to go.
Sunday we went to church and then home, where we proceeded to get into a big fight because we were both grumpy and her back is out. and we were having issues with the boy's formula. it sucked.
