Hey... not sure if you ever said but was wondering how your evening with your in-laws went the other night?? I know you were dreading it... hope it wasn't as bad as it could have been!!

It was rough...lol.
Well my MIL is a huge idiot, they went to the wrong restaurant. So Casey and I sat around for a half hour waiting. When they finally got there, the dinner conversation was awful (all about death, illness, tragedy) for the first half of dinner. I finally cut them off and said, can we talk about something a bit lighter?!
Maybe that was a mistake, b/c the spotlight shifted to our lives. Whenever we see her, its like the inquisition. She tries to catch up on every detail of our lives in a short amount of time.
My major complaints are as follows (lol):
1) Her response to the news of our new puppy baby: "Are you sure you can handle that?" Listen lady, you don't have a f*****g clue what our financial situation is, what our schedules are like, and what we are capable of. We are not your average 19 year olds, and we certainly are not like any of your other children.
2) Listening to her complain about her job. She works full time, at TARGET. Whoop-di-do. She thinks she is stressed having to work and clean house. I'd LOVE to see her work, clean, cook, GO TO SCHOOL FULL TIME, and renovate a friggn dump of a house from the ground up.
Woo, this is getting fiesty, Sandi you may have opened a can of worms. Lol. Thank you for asking, I totally needed to vent.
For the record, Casey is in agreement that the dinner sucked, and that she sucks.

ha ha! Mother in laws can be rough stuff!! I am so glad that Casey in on board because if he thought she was the cats meow, you'd be in BIG trouble!!
