A student set the school on fire today!
Yeah...you read right...a student set a garbage can on fire in the boys bathroom! The entire school was evacuated. The fire was put out by the custodians. The entire school was confined to the gym all afternoon while the smoke died down. It turns out the little boy told several students on Friday that he was going to burn the school down on Monday and that he would burn them if they told. The student was expelled and faces charges....so how was your day?
Re: A student set the school on fire today!
OMG!! ASHLEY! that is terrible! Kids are so weird. Mine was unremarkable. I worked, managed to burn dinner... it was my first flop since the wedding so it was kind of discouraging .. then I met my friend Tajmah and we went looking for lingere invitations for my friend's lingere party.
I always thought the kid was a little rough around the edges but nothing like this. Turns out this was his second major offense. He threatened to kill several students last year.
omg....so....are they considering relocating this child to a more rigid environment? yikes! be safe woman!
yes...he was expelled this time and he's facing arson charges so he won't be back. Oh, I forgot to mention that he threatened the principal.
What's strange is that although the school is in a low income neighborhood we rarely have behavioral issues...it's a true community school. This is so random.
OMG...hopefully he won't be able to come back to school! He needs a much more "safe" environment to learn in!!!!
It is just so sad that he is so young...and already has some obvious problems. It is just scary to think about how he could be when he gets older
Oh no! How scary! I'm glad it wasn't worse than it was and that the boy got the punishment he deserved. Things are getting so out of hand these days it's scary.
On a more positive note...I love that pic of you and your DH. You guys look so cute!
thanks...people say we look alike
LOL...Well you know what they say about people who live together.
