Follow Up on Making Invitations

To jlk and others who gave advice for my making someone else's wedding invitations...

I met with the bride tonight and I think I know what she wants... pocketfolds with 4 inserts and a matted monogram square on the front.  Here's what I'm thinking...

Pocketfold Invites w/ 4 Inserts and Monogram Front... $4.50 each
Place Cards... $0.50 each
If she wants me to stamp and address them (handwritten)... $0.50 each

Even if I take some help from cardsandpockets.com and get the matting parts pre-cut, it gives me about $400 profit (not including the addressing/stamping fee).  Does that sound reasonable?  Any thoughts?

Re: Follow Up on Making Invitations

  • I have no idea...I just wondered if you factored in the amount of time it will take you to make each one?  Your time is valuable!
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!
