As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Hey Katie! Just wanted to let you know that Toby had a great stay at Four Paws over the weekend. He didn't escape (thank god!) and had a great time with the people and pups there. Guess I was worried over nothing! 
I'm pretty sure they must have worked on some basic commands some more while he was there b/c when we got home and told him to "sit" he pretty much sat his butt right down. It was a pleasant surprise because before we left, I'd have to repeat myself about 3 times on average before he'd respond (and prior to that it was anyone's best guess when he'd figure it out)!
My IL's picked him up on Sunday b/c we got back really late and they were told that they didn't have his bed so I had to call them on Monday to sort thigns out. The lady on the phone was real nice and was like yeah I remember Toby...the beagle! He was really sweet and handsome! She found his bed right away and we picked it up without any issues.
BTW, if you didn't buy the gift certificates from Half Price Cincy yet you may consider doing it today. They discounted it even further to $7 for $50 gift certificates! I bought some so Toby can go to day care once in awhile. Maybe he and Roxy will get to play sometime .

Fantastic! That is wonderful news. I'm so glad Toby had a nice stay and that you were happy with Four Paws. That's funny - after Roxy's last stay there we forgot to get her bed, too. I picked it up and left it in the garage and it's been there ever since. Apparently she doesn't really use her bed that much and we didn't know it.
I wonder if Toby learned "sit" by watching some of the other dogs do it. You should send him there more often!
Now you can plan future trips and not have to worry about Toby escaping. I really am glad it worked out.
