Re: 10 things tuesday
1. just finished my papers for my ballet teaching certification (anatomy and a business profile UGH) soooo happy to be done but sooooo nervous. I really hope they're good.
2. I'm wondering how to get my dog to stop peeing in our new apartment. We adopted him about 2 months before our move and didn't have any pee problems. Now I guess he may be a little weirded out and pees in the kitchen of all places while we're asleep or out. Even. if we JUST walked him...
3.Stressed about having to go out of town 3 times before the summer is over. I HATE traveling. It really stresses me. It wouldn't be so bad if these were actuall vacations and not business related
4.Had to cancel our VEGAS vacation for these... SUCKS
5.Thinking about baking today if the weather is cooler
6. I think we need a new air conditioner. Ours is kinda old and not conditioning the air very well
7. We also want to paint the apt before the end of the summer. I HATE these white walls. It's impossible to be creative when your home says BLAND
8. I'm PMSing really bad this week. I can't stop eating Oreos and Nutella...together!!! Who does that???
9. I have a performance coming up that requires me to wear a bra and boy shorts and I'm eating OREOS AND NUTELLA!!!!! omg...I'm definitely going to regret this...
10. Hmmm...almost had 10 but I guess 9 will do. Oh wait, does this count as 10...
1. I wonder why we have so many lurkers and so few posters. Makes me kinda sad and curious.
2. I am trying to mentally gear up to do data entry this afternoon. It is due tomorrow.
3. I am so excited for this weekend. L has declared that she is not working at all and she wants to have a relaxing weekend. YAY! If it were a weekend, pre-kids, it would be one of those weekends where we hang out in bed all weekend watching the Food Network. But instead, we'll take the kids swimming, take naps, grill, drink, visit with friends, and maybe go see fireworks.
4. We are refinancing our house which has turned into a long, drawn out, and expensive endevour. Thankfully, we are closing Thursday and it'll all be behind us.
5. Carter is in LOVE with his new "green army men" from Toy Story 3. He is apparently working on his "pow pow pow" sound effects since he does it constantly. Seriously, where do they learn this stuff and why is it so fun?? I told him he was on a UN Peacekeeping mission.
I never thought we'd be the house with green army men.
6. I can't believe I am watching The Real L Word. I am ashamed.
7. I signed the kids up for Parents Night Out in July. WHOO HOO! Date night! I want to go see The Kids are Alright.
8. I am starving.
9. I am so thankful it is supposed to be cooler by the end of the week. 100 degrees is no fun.
10. I wish we could have a playdate with CT and A since our kids are so close in age!
1) I'd love to have that playdate - lets each drive half way?
2) I'm very curious about the real l word and am considering signing up for showtime. although didnt someone mention i can watch them online?
3) I'm currently eating a chocolate covered mint oreo. AMAZING.
4) I wish i had Sprout's will power. he'll beg, beg, beg, for a cookie then take one bite and be done with it saying, "i just wanted to taste". hmm, maybe thats why he's only 32lbs...
5) He asked me recently if he could call me mama instead of mommy. so cute.
6) my relationship w/ my BFF has totally fizzled.
7) i got a new fancy flat screen monitor at work and its making me happier than any monitor should.
8) I wish i could call a truce on gift giving - i'm so tired of trying to think of new and exciting gifts to get for the same people year after year. (side note: anyone find a hit gift for thier dad this year??)
9) i still regularly torture myself by checking schedules and prices of cruises online
10) Just when i thought life was going to slow a bit, my dog started peeing blood. Its horrible to admit, but the first thing I thought when DW told me was "ugh, thats going to be expensive".
Blogs: Our Growing Family - CT Working Moms
1. I brought my Subaru in for an inspection yesterday and left with a brake job. I'm pretty bummed about that since it basically ate our savings for the month.
2. But for $160, I got the AC fixed. GLORIOUS.
3. C called me this AM that she started her period. She was ESTATIC. I hope the RE lets us try this month. Its only been 13 days since the D&C.
4. If she's not pregnant by Sept, we're going to try me...
5. I am convinced I will have twins. And really want them.
6. I still need a new job btw.
7. We can't actually afford twins.

9. My MIL is visiting the next few nights. C won't be there tomorrow since she'll be at work. I'm nervous.
10. We're going to terrify the dog Saturday with fireworks. I feed bad.
