I chose once or twice per week.  Not counting this weekend where we ate out almost every meal since our kitchen was partially covered in plastic.

we used to be in the daily category... especially for lunch. but not anymore. it's just too hard with little ones in-tow.

I chose every other day, but it's really like once or twice during the week (or on a good week, not at all), and then all weekend long. We're bad on weekends.

I chose every couple of days. We're usually pretty good throughout the week and maybe just have 1 or two meals out, but we almost always eat breakfast and/or lunch on the weekends out.

DH is a pizza fiend, so I'll pick up a Little Ceasar's for dinner about once a week. Budget wise, I don't really even think of this as eating out, since the $6 it costs is comparable to what we'd spend on a home-cooked meal anyway. Aside from that, I'll buy lunch out or bring home dinner maybe once a week, if that.

We've really been trying to curb this. DH used to eat out for lunch every day until I compared the price of Jimmy John's every day to the price of a guitar he wanted. Now he takes leftovers almost every day, save for once or twice a month.

We go out once or twice every weekend. But instead of picking up fast food, we try to save our dining budget for "nicer" (as in nicer than fast food) places we're interested in trying.
