Two things:
1) Sorry for more D & R talk
2) I know its unlikely that many of you have actually used fabric paint, but I thought I'd ask...
Has anyone ever used fabric paint? What was your experience and
were you happy with the outcome? Should I scotch guard the chairs
after painting them?
We have two white arm chairs that I'd
like to paint, as there is too much white in one room. My concerns are
that the chairs will feel stiff after painting and that the paint will
come off on our clothing.
Re: XP: Fabric Paint
maybe add colorful pillows, candles, home decor, blah blah
ive used dye not paint. i just love those white chairs tmon!!!
They're in the office now...with a white desk, and a white file cabinet, and white everything. Its too much white. Idk what color I'd even paint them.
My mom suggested pillows too, but I don't think it'd be enough contrast.
How did the dye work for you?
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
Well I am a dumbie, I realized after posting this that those chairs would be easy to reupholster.
I went to Joann's, and couldn't find 8 yards of the same fabric :-/ What a PITA.
