for me to buy a crib when I'm not even pregnant nor do I know what I will have when I am pregnant?
There's one at Hissyfits Resale and it's GORGEOUS!! It's half price, still $300 but I LOVE IT!!
Am I crazy and is that a lot for a convertable crib?

Re: Would it be crazy
Stac-you crack me up, you are seriously going to me such a doting, loving mom! Are you looking for support on buying it? If it is what you reallleeeeee want and you have the dough rei me, then buy it.
I, personally, would wait--there will always be deals on cribs and other baby stuff--hello, we are going to go garage saling some day!
i agree with shelly, there's always sales on things. your tastes may change, etc etc.
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
I'll be the other side and say if you really love it and it is gender neutral, then go for it. Yes, there are always great deals, but if you have the money to spend now, then go for it. You'll have a nice big house to put it into soon too!
Also, if you did decide you didn't love it later, YOU could always sell it. If it is a pricey crib, the you'll still make some money off of it.
Oh and $300 is not a lot at all for a convertible crib. We paid a little bit more then that for Williams.
Oh but I looooove it so much!!! OMG! It's perfect if I have a girl first!!!!
UGH....I want it I want it!!!..........
Oh...I would hold off, especially if it's not gender neutral Besides, you will have to find a changing table/dresser to match
Im just going to say it, It's Crazy! lol
But I would wait since it's not gender neutral. Can we see pics?

Girl... I own a petunia picklebottom boxy backpack... to me, this is not crazy, its OCD planning, which I am so on the train with you.
I do have to say, my diaperbag is at least gender neutral and was on clearance at Nordstroms.
haha Jen, i'm glad you don't think I am crazy! Thank you!!!
Here's the crib
No crib??? What will you use?
Thanks Fallon....I LOVE IT TOO!!! That's why I want it so badly! lol
it is really really pretty
what does mr A think?
I spent many years as a NYC nanny working for families in tiny, tiny apartments. They all used those Pack 'n Plays with Bassinets on top. I LOVE that. SOOOO much cheaper, more compact, can be used with co-sleeping, and can travel with us. When they get bigger you just put them in the main part and when they are big enough to climb out you put them in a regular bed.
I am EXTREMELY cheap. I just can't justify getting a crib considering how much they cost! And they take up so much space in the bedroom.
He laughed and told me I was funny! hahaha little does he know I am serious. But then he said....don't worry, we'll get a sick crib when the time comes. There are plenty of nice cribs out there.
Men don't get it! haha If I had a house, it'd be bought already but we don't have room for it right now. :-(
I wouldn't buy it, for safety reasons. There have been SO many crib recalls lately that there's a good chance this particular crib was recalled.
Ohhhhhh such a cute crib Stacy!
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!

My boobies belong to cour10e
It's never been used. It's still in the packaging.
I wouldn't say I'm cheap but I look for good deals. I will also be spending more on our babies than usual people (I think) to make sure everything is good and safe. (ie: an organic mattress so I don't have to worry about the chemicals they put on reg. mattresses, etc.) So, I'm ok with spending $300 I guess is my point. lol
Yeah, I hear a lot of people say that but I don't believe in jinxing myself. I've already bought stuff and I know my time will come so I'm not too worried about that. lol
