maintaining roses

My rose bush has so many blooms a month ago. They've now died off and I cut them off but there is no re-growth. Am I doing something wrong? I am in Zone 5a (Canada).

Re: maintaining roses

  • Roses need a lot of food to bloom.  I use a slow release fertilizer that requires more after 6 weeks.  I also use some miracle grow when I think about it (maybe once every 2 weeks)
