where is the best place to get seeds?
I know this has been posted here before, but I can't remember what the websites are to get heirloom, organic type seeds.
Thanks!

Re: where is the best place to get seeds?
Here are two great heirloom seed companies:
http://rareseeds.com/cart/ (Several friends have referred to their catalogue as seed porn. They make vegetables look amazingly lucious.)
http://www.southernexposure.com/index.html (For me, these folks are great because they denote seeds that are great for the Mid-Atlantic region)
List with more, and info about some of them http://www.attra.org/sorg/seeds.html
I really like the variety and information here http://www.heirloomseeds.com/
We got our seeds from them this year and they've all done really well. Since it's our first year with a small backyard garden, we chose several hybrid seeds instead of herloom, since we need big yields in a small space. We'll do more herloom seeds next year. But everything had a good gemination rate, and we've had no disease or bug problems (knock on wood) outside of our lone eggplant, which was descimated by flea beetles. We left it alone so the beetles would eat it instead of the green peppers.
