Dumb tomato question
My tomatoes are getting to be a good size and now I finally have one that is getting red. Exactly when do you pick it? I know, probably a dumb question but I don't want to do anything wrong with my one and only ripe one. Do you wait until they are red red? It's been turning red for about 3 days now.

I like to wait until mine are red red--I think they taste better. My DH will pick them when they're orange and bring them in to finish ripening inside.
Green tomatoes will eventually turn red after they're picked.
