So, what did you guys think of Eclipse (Yes, there will be spoilers if you havent read the book)
The movie moved so fast my head was spinning. I am glad they covered all the important parts but I was a little bummed at how fast they graduated high school. And the party at the Cullen house was a bit weak. I guess they were trying to rush it up to the fight scene...
Honestly, I HATED Victoria. HATED HER!! She was nothing like the original Victoria. Did not even begin to look like her. I am glad she died in this movie because it was that painful.
Rosalie was so much prettier in this one. She was more of what I had assumed she would look like when I read the books. Though, they keep changing the way Esme looks and that is bugging me, haha!
Overall, I loved the movie. There were so many funny parts. I love when Jacob was in the tent with Bella and Edward and was all "afterall, I am hotter then you" haha! I am still 100% team Edward, but after last night, I found myself on the cusp of switching teams, haha! I slept on it though and I am still all about Edward, but Oh.My.GOSH he was a hottie in this movie!
Oh and even though I knew what Bella's engagement ring would look like, I have to say I think it is kind of ugly looking.
Oh, and this morning, I am sporting my team Edward Tee-Shirt that they gave me at the movies last night.... My husband came down this morning and laughed at me. As did Layla's dad when he dropped her off. Oh, and I also want to say I am way to old to be doing these midnight release parties, haha!

I think its a pear shaped or oval shaped diamond. I can't remember exactly, I just remember making a face when I read the description.
I did the same thing when I read the description of her wedding dress in Breaking Dawn. I hope its prettier than what I pictured.

I didn't LOVE it and I didn't hate it. The more I think about it the more I did enjoy it though.
I felt that it was a very good representation of the book, but I don't think the book translated well to film. The book was just so dialogue heavy and the movie needed to be like that - but it left me feeling like I just spent way too much time in super intimate close quarters with the entire cast. It was weird.
My favourite part of the movie was the new Victoria! I'm so surprised you hated her! I thought Bryce was fantastic, and portrayed her the way I imagined her from the books. I did not like the previous Victoria. I loved Bryce though.
I loved that they added Edwards monologue to Victoria basically saying "Come get me" It was a great portrayal of the good sides of his protection of Bella instead of his usual angsty teenage frustrations.
So all that being said. I like it more today than I did yesterday. But it was dialogue heavy, and very choppy. Still good though.
I think my vision of Victoria in the book was like the original Victoria. This one to me had a weird voice and carried herself very differently. I don't know, I think that Bryce did not do as good as the previous actress...
