Can anyone rec. a good high risk OB/GYN (LONG)

My GP recommended a high risk OB/GYN for me (I have everything under the sun - from endometriosis to PCOS, and some non-OB/GYN problems that cause problems. i.e Epilepsy) and they sounded great. The credentials were amazing and everyone raved about them. Thing is, whenever I call the office - no matter what day, or what time, the phone always says the office is closed.

Today, I called back my GP and asked what's up and if she could recommend anyone else for me. She recommended someone else who specializes in high risk patients, but the credentials aren't that great and her reviews on all the websites basically said she was rude and had horrible bedside manner to the point of making them feel uncomfortable. Not exactly someone I want handling all of my problems.

I have an OB/GYN back in PA that I've been seeing and she's amazing! But, now that we live in CT, I sort of feel like if we want to have kids, that I should have someone up here (we live just outside of Hartford, btw - towards South Windsor). We aren't ready to have kids just yet, but I want someone who is as capable of handling all of my issues as my current doctor.

Is there anyone in the Manchester/South Windsor area that you girls can suggest, given my situation?

TIA!

  • I don't personally use these doctors, but I have had many patients that use them that love them.  Dr. Williams and Dr Glasman are in practice together out of Ellington and Dr Mangual practices out of Vernon.  However, I'm not sure if they do high risk or not. Good luck!

  • I just read this (have not been on in a long time).  I have TONS of issues (including bicoruate uterus) and BY FAR the best doctor I have had (and I have 4) is Dr. Andrea DiLuigi she is in Hartford at the Center for Advanced Reproductive Services.  5 stars!!!!!

    Love,
