Black Tie Attire
Hi ladies,
I have a wedding to go to next weekend and it is a Black Tie Event. Can I wear a short dress or does it have to be long?

I think it completely depends on the dress.
I definately don't think a sun dress would work, but perhaps a bit nicer cocktail could.

agreed. As long as its not a summery short dress its fine to go short.
here's a nordie's list called "Guest of a wedding" < --- almost all of those are short, some are not black-tie appropriate though. The "Cocktail" list better fits short+black tie.
