Help....combining bachlorette and lingerie shower
I am combining the bachlorette party and the lingerie shower and I need help with wording. This is also a very tame bachlorette...dinner and then drinks and bar hopping likely. Does anyone have any ideas for wording. I have to get these invites out very soon. Thanks so much.

Re: Help....combining bachlorette and lingerie shower
I've been to several showers like this. I think it was mostly communicated via e-mail, very casually. It wasn't so much that it was two events, it was that we were going to give the bride-to-be lingiere before heading out to the bars for the bachelorette party. The "pre-;party" was in a hotel suite close to where we were going for the night.
I would make the invite a bachelorette party invite. And on the invite mention "before dinner and drinks, we'll be meeting at X place to shower Jane with lingerie."
Also, I know you're going out to dinner, but I would suggest having some refreshments on hand during the lingerie gift opening.
HTH.
I think you should also let your girls know either where you're going to dinner, including a website so they know how much to bring. Or if that is still up in the air, just mention a roundabout plate cost.
I have dealt with some cheap-os before and had to hear about how their dinner was $20 - $30!
