Are there any ladies currently training for a half or full marathon that would like to do some long runs together once a week or so? I live in the Dallas area and do most of my short runs at the gym on the treadmill but I've got to do the long ones outside.
I typically run my long runs on Saturday morning and am currently working on week 1 of Hal Higdon's novice marathon training. I've finished all the way up to week 20 in this plan but had a stress fracture and couldn't run my marathon.
I'm currently training for the Rock and Roll San Antonio in November.
My goals include without any walking at all so I average about a 10 minute mile. It will be a while though before I can leave behind my walking breaks.
