Who is on the worldcup bandwagon?
I normally don't get too into sports but for some reason I am all about the World Cup. It's just so exciting. The closer we get to the end the more nerve wrecking it gets. I love to watch the games. That Paraguay vs Japan game had me at the edge of my seat.
Since the USA has been eliminated I am now rooting for Argentina to win.
What team are you rooting for?
Re: Who is on the worldcup bandwagon?
HI there,
I have watched every game. Growing up in an Argentina (mom) and Uruguay (dad) house, the World Cup was considered sacred to us and we would all gather around to watch the games.
Wanted the US to win but am now cheering for both Argentina and Uruguay. Would love to see the 2 of them in the FINALE!!!!!
Either way we have homemade empanadas and alfajores to enjoy!
I hear ya. I was never really into soccer but my husabnd is Argentine and you know how they love their soccer.
Yummy I love homemade empanadas. My MIL makes them all the time. But I must say I am not a big fan of alfajores.
An Uruguay vs. Argentina would be an excellent finale. We must wait and see.
Me me me!! My whole family is World Cup crazed. Since the US was eliminated, we are rooting for Espana, la Madre Patria!!!
We'll have to see what happens starting tomorrow.
What part of Argentina is your husband from? Have you ever gone? My husband and I hoping and trying to go this October. I havent gone back in over 10 years and can't wait. I love it over there!
Well he was born here but his mom, dad and sister were all born over there. He does however have that lovely Argentine accent. I love to hear him talk in spanish .
I have never been but we are planning on going next year. I hear there is great shopping opportunities.
