Mayo W/Olive Oil

I know someone on here asked about this not long ago, but I don't think anyone had tried it.  I got some and just had it on a sandwich.  It's great!  To me, it's tastes like the regular mayo.  With 1/2 the fat and calories, I don't think I'll ever eat the regular kind again!

Re: Mayo W/Olive Oil

  • I've been curious about it too.  DH hates mayo so we usually buy miricle whip.  I may buy me a jar but no more than I eat sandwiches I'm better off with a small jar but I don't know if that kind comes in small jars. But I'm all about 1/2 the fat and calories!
    Siggy coming soon....
  • I've been meaning to try it for some time now. Bob recently went grocery shopping for me and I had written down on the same line: Mayo Olive Oil... so, being a man, he bought me a huge Hellman's mayo and a great big bottle of olive oil. I told him they were on the same line for a reason...if I had wanted what he bought I would have written:

    mayo

    olive oil

    not mayo olive oil

lol...men! At least he did the shopping for me. Once this huge new mayo is gone I'll try it. It may be six months or longer. LOL

  • just make lots of pasta salad or something... LOL that will eat up the mayo quick!

  • mayo is on the grocery list for this week...so I think I'll give this one a shot.  All about something less fattening :)
  • Wow.. didn't realize it has half the fat. I'll definitely have to try it!

  • Yes...it's really good!  I've had it for a few weeks now, and you really can't tell a difference.

  • It has been on my grocery list for a few weeks now....but I can't find any around my area.  Everyone seems to be out of it.....so it must be a big hit!

  • Cool.  I may try it when my regular and light mayo run out. :-)
