When are onions ready to pull?
The tops of mine have all fallen over. I dug one up the other day to see if it had grown and it was still about the same size as when I planted the bulb!!

I usually go by the size of the onion poking through the ground. if it looks big enough, I pull it.
If they didn't get very big, leave them there. They may surprise you and come back next year (mine did!)
