Chicago (and Doobie Brothers) coming to Chicago!

Chicago is coming to Chicago!!  Chicago and the Doobie Brothers, two of my all-time legendary bands, are coming to the Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island on Friday July 16 at 7:30 p.m.  I thought I'd pass along the info for any others who might be interested-- Chicago is also pairing up with the American Cancer Society to auction off the "ultimate fan experience" and raise money for breast cancer research which I thought was a really great feature of the tour.  Hope some other local fans can take advantage!!

DOOBIE BROTHERS AND CHICAGO CO-HEADLINING TOUR FOR SUMMER 2010

Back by popular demand, the Doobie Brothers and Chicago are going on tour together and coming to the Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island Friday July 16 at 7:30 p.m.!

Check out their tour dates and how to purchase tickets at http://www.ticketmaster.com/Chicago-tickets/artist/734746

As a special feature of the tour, the American Cancer Society is teaming up with Chicago to create the ultimate fan experience that will also save lives from breast cancer. For all US concerts open to the public in 2010, fans can bid on a VIP package that includes the opportunity to sing the hit song "If You Leave Me Now" onstage with the band during the concert, 2 front row or premium tickets, and a backstage meet-and-greet with Chicago.

Proceeds will help the American Cancer Society fight for every birthday threatened by breast cancer in every community - by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against this disease.

Bid to win the only VIP fan treatment from Chicago that not only gives you the opportunity to rock with the band, but also helps create a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays.
