Pediatrician Recs Please!!
So at our appointment today, (where we got to hear our baby's heartbeat....YAY!!!), our doctor told us that we needed to have a pediatrician name for him by our next appointment. I am going to ask friends/coworkers but thought maybe you ladies might be of some help. We're delivering at Touro on Prytania and wouldn't mind someone in the area...but are willing to drive for the right person. :-)

I take the boys to Hales Pediatrics, who just happen to be right next to Touro. I love love love them. We see Dr Gorman mostly, but we've seen all of the doctors, and I've never had any problems getting appointments or waiting too long. Amazing, considering how popular they are.

I LOOOOOVED Dr. Claire Neuman at Lakeside Pedi. We use to see her when she was at Westside Pedi. She moved across the river and it was too difficult for us to get over there to see her. HOWEVER, she is still by far the best pedi we have ever seen.

We use Dr. John (Brent) Wallis of LSU Healthcare Network.
He's a young doctor, and VERY accessible. He's helped to implement the whole Electronic Health Record program for LSU and he will reply to any email via ihealth.com It's great for those times in between appointments when you really don't need to take your child in but have nagging questions. It's also great for easy referrals. His clinic is located at 2820 Napolean,Suite 890, uptown.
Not sure. I thought the same thing but am glad he asked me so soon. I have been able to gather a lot of information and it's been better for me to do this now than it would've been to tackle around the holidays...on top of everything else I have going on. Thanks for the info.
