Re: am i a brat?

  • You are NOT a brat. Its good to get a deep cleaning. This might help keep you guys motivatived to keep the place cleaner lol Besides you TOTALLY deserve it!!!!!
  • You are not a Brat!  It would nice have a break from house work at least for one week go for!
  • NOPE! DH and I are actually talking about getting a cleaner for once a month cleaning, just to give me a break. One of the mover guys told me his wife cleans houses so I gladly took her number....I want to see how much it'll be before we determine if we'll do it or not, but for now I'm really in love with the idea lol
  • If that makes you a brat I don't want to know what it makes me!  We have a housekeeper come every other week.  I love it.  I keep up with things but I don't want to spend my precious time off vacuuming and scrubbing the shower.

  • I agree your not a Brat! You deserve it. I hired a housekeeper last week per Kara's encouragement LOL. She started this week and my house is amazingly clean and now I don't have to worry about not being able to clean with Collin on my hip.

We'll see how long it last but right now It's nice and since i took on one extra Kiddo two days a week I think I deserve it.

  • Let them do it!  Enjoy your time. I just had someone clean my house to get ready for the in-laws and it looks great! I'm so glad I didn't have to do it.  I'm even thinking of having someone come every two weeks to clean.
  • You're not a brat at all! We're discussing hiring a housekeeper in the fall when I go back to work. Like Amanda said, I can't keep trying to keep our house clean with a baby, nor do I want to spend my time doing it! Stick out tongue

  • Good for you!  I've always wanted a house cleaner but Joe's still resisting.  I'm gonna keep trying for one though.  What a gift to free up your time like that.
  • Nope house maintenance and up-keep takes alot of my precious time, and sometimes I just want to do whatever I want...it sucks to say "Gotta scrub those toilets, and steam-clean the bathroom walls" before you get anything else done. Time is money baby.

  • You are not a brat.  We actually have one that comes every other week.  It took a lot of convincing for Jordan to agree, but now, he has even said, he wouldn't have it any other way.  And since she only comes every other week, we still have to keep up with vacuuming, and toilets.  I love having her and she does an awsome job.

  • ok good! i'm glad you guys don't think badly of me... and thanks for the encouragement.. this might become a once a month thing.. :)
