Oh man, we are having such stunning weather up here in CT - it makes this friday that much better!

We have NO plans which makes me more than ecstatic. L has said that she isn't doing any work. YEEHAW!
We might go see a small parade tomorrow (they hold it on the 3rd) - but we haven't mentioned it to the kids and are just going to see how we are feeling in the morning. We've invited some friends to come hang out at some point, got some stuff to grill, have some drinks in the fridge, and the sprinkler set up for the kids. And I am sure we'll take the kids swimming a time or two at our community pool. It has been too long since we had a weekend with no plans. Ahhhh.
I wish I had taken today off - it is GORGEOUS out there -but by Sunday it is supposed to be 96. BLECH.
Andrea and I are both getting out early today so we'll enjoy a little alone time before picking up the kids. Saturday and Sunday are wide open. I NEED to get some weeding and mulching done but aside from that, it'll just be playing and relaxing and getting life back in order from vacation (why is it that it took us 3 hours to back, but a week + to unpack??).
Monday we'll head to a picnic at my parents. Family, swimming, yummy food!

Tonight we are going to children's services. The girls love the music. We really don't have plans for Saturday yet and Sunday we are having a family BBQ.
I need to bake some goodies for Sunday but I haven't quite decided what to make. I am really hoping to take advantage of a cousins offer to watch the girls for a couple of hours. It would be so nice to have a peaceful lunch with my wife.
It's beautiful here as well :-) I think I may need to grab some mint on the way home and make mojitos tonight - yum!
Tomorrow I'm going for a massage while K takes Jelly Bean for the day. It will be very nice to have a few hours of rest and relaxation to myself.
Sunday will be very low key. A few friends may come over for a bbq but that's about it.
**CT** If you and A are up for a drive you're more than welcome to come over on Sunday for some 4th of July BBQ and sun.
I took today off, so this morning we went disc golfing and then I convinced her to go to the conservatory. tonight is dinner for her sister's b-day, which was earlier this week.
tomorrow some friends are having a cookout so we'll probably go to that for a bit, but other than that no definite plans that I know of for the weekend or Monday. sweet!
We have an unusually structured weekend planned. Tomorrow we're going berry picking, and visiting my mom in her new apartment (she just moved yesterday, for a new job). Then we're going eyeglasses shopping for me. Sunday, we've got gardening to do, I'm making candy and we're heading to a friend's BBQ.
Monday we're hoping to see a movie (A Matter of Size) with some friends. I'm so glad we're home for the weekend and not traveling!
oh man, i'm sorry i missed this unti just now! my bro ended up coming home for the weekend so we've been hanging out with him all day, but would have loved to come up for a visit!
