TGIF: weekend plans?

Hi ladies, happy Friday! Any exciting plans? Since it's the 4th of July anad everything?

We've only got plans for tomorrow: we're going to my DH's aunt's birthday party in upstate, I'm really looking forward to that. Other than that, literally nothing, which means that a) we'll get dragged into a last-minute thing with the ILs (which I don't love to be honest) or b) we'll do nothing, clean a little, try to go to the beach a couple of times.

Happy Independence!

I am sooo looking forward to this long weekend!

Fri: Dominica party - it's usually an all nighter and into 7am the next day. I need to lose the weight and I think this dancing marathon is just what I need to kickstart the process.

Sat: sleep off the tiredness and sore muscles from all the dancing (that's how I know I am old) hehehe, then maybe head to Coney Island to the beach with a gal pal if I can muster. BBQ @ night in Bronx.

Sun: DH and I will go to a BBQ with some family friends on the beach (not sure which beach yet).

Mon: relax and home projects

P.S. Alternatively, we may say screw it to all of the above and just chill out at home.

We're going "down da shore"!    My parents live at the jersey shore, so we're headed down for the weekend.  Looking for a beach day tomorrow, maybe a boardwalk trip sunday and some time out on my Dad's boat-maybe taking DD crabbing.  Can't wait!

Nothing tonite. Just take-out and a Netflix dvd.

Saturday: shopping-for a new air conditioner. Ours went on the fritz the other night and I won't be able to stand the 90s temps that are predicted for the upcoming week. It's going to be crazy in the pc richard. Also stocking op on food for DH for next week as I will be away for a week starting 07/10 to visit mom in NC.

Sunday: going to a friend's bbq

Monday: chilling at home

DH has some time off so we have been making the rounds, doing lots of fun things together.

Tonight, concert in Williamsburg.

Tomorrow, hanging with my mommy.  

Sunday, relaxing with friends.  BBQ, hammock, bocce, bonfire, drinks, and lots of treats.

TGIF!

Today: Nothing too exciting on the agenda. Gonna go to Verizon to activate my mom's old phone 'cause mine came for a dip in the pool with me the other day. =/ Tonight we have nothing planned.

Tomorrow: Maybe stop by the house for some last minute cleaning before our Tuesday closing...other than that, nothing.

Sunday: Going to my SIL's for a 4th of July shindig.

Monday: Another day of nothing planned.

Nothing much planned here either. Last night we ended up going to see the movie Cyrus with 2 friends. It's pretty good!! It's very opposite of normal summer movies (no explosions, no guns...) but it's very sweet. Then we went out for Italian afterwards.

Today; cleaning! Our apartment is a wreck! It's either been too hot to clean or we haven't had the time or motivation! But then i'm finally going to see Sex and the City 2 with a friend and hang out with her afterwards.

Tomorrow; So...when we were in NH last weekend, i got a new Red Sox tank top. I want to wear it, so me, DH, another couple and another friend of ours (who are also all Red Sox fans) are going to a Red Sox friendly bar/restaurant to watch the 1:30 game. And this whole plan started cuz i wanna wear my new shirt!! I'm such a princess...

Monday; DH and i both have the day off but no plans! If it's going to be god awful hot, we may have to find something to do in some freezing cold AC. Our living room AC isn't the best working appliance in the world.
