Things to do in Clearwater

Hi Ladies,

I'm a RI nestie, and am hosting a corporate event in Clearwater in October for 15 people.  It's on Monday October 27th, and we're staying at the Clearwater Hilton.  I've been looking into dinner cruises but most don't sail on Monday's.

Is there anything else you ladies can recommend?

TIA!

  • You might get a better response by posting on the West Coast Florida board. I think most people in the Tampa Bay area post over there.

My only thought is maybe dinner or something beachside, since the beaches there are so pretty. But the locals would be better able to give you specific recs.

    Good luck!

  • You could always do the Pirate cruise. I heard it's a blast! LOL - looks silly, but is supposed to be fun.

If you like to party, go to Shepherds on the beach. That's where all the partying happens.

If you can take a sunset cruise, do it. Going under the causeways at sunset is amazing. Have fun!

  • Oh, and you're pretty much guaranteed to see dolphins if you do one of the dinner cruises.

  • Thanks ladies!  I looked into the Pirate cruise, and it looks like so much fun.
  • There is an aquarium there that offers a "touch and see" tour.  It's not worth it.  But we passed the pirate cruise on the way to their "island" and they looked like they were having fun.

Oh, and don't go to the bird sanctuary.  It's sad and not clean at all.
