Hey Girls,
I'm taking H to Mystic next weekend for his birthday and am looking for restaurant recs. Basically something on the water or with a view and great food of course is preferable, not fancy though, we are gonna be casual I'm sure.
Another option is something with a hip atmosphere and good drink selection. I thought Tastings looked kinda neat.
Thanks so much for your help in advance.

My Randomness Blog!!
This times 1 million. On weekend nights people tend to dress up a bit, but you can always sit in the bar and be just fine. The food is great and the town is SO awesome to walk around in.
There is a really good thai/chinese place in Mystic but the name escapes me. It has really good drinks too. It is right next to the Mexican place. I am such a big help, right?
RAWR!
Skipper's is great, but S&P might be a better bet for dinner because of the location. If I was only coming to the area for a short time I would stick around the downtown/drawbridge area of Mystic just to walk around and relax. Stonington Village is great, but I enjoy it better during the day.
This!!!! I work in Mystic and this is my fave fave fave restaurant.
