I've had it for a whole day now & its still tripping me up. I remember to say it but when I go to sign something my old one comes out.
I messed up & wrote my old last name twice at the dmv yesterday, the lady thought it was quite humorous.
Im thinking now I should have acted like a 14 year old with a crush & practiced writing it. When I sign it it looks terrible.
Anyone else who changed having a hard time with it?

Re: New last name!
Not yet. I am actually WANTING to write it differently but I have to wait until the drivers license comes in. Plus, I have to get my bank cards changed over.
But when I signed my new drivers license form, I had to stop and think about it. LOL. The lady and H laughed at me. But it's normal.
I did get excited today. My mom sent me my old title to one of the cars we have. She addressed the envelope to my new name and I just smiled.
It's almost here! Weeeeeeee!

Glad to know Im not the only one getting snickered at by the dmv people!
I sign it way too neatly because its new to me. My first names a jumbled mess that doesnt even look like Jenni & then my last names all nice & neat.

PAIF/SAIF welcome!
When I went and deposited our wedding checks most of them were made out to us and "new last name" so I had to sign my new last name and then write my maiden name underneath it since I haven't changed my name yet. By the 3rd or 4th check it end up just being a jumbled mess because I kept starting to write the wrong last name on the wrong line.
It is hard to sign the new one because my name now is really loopy and long and my new last name doesn't continue the loopiness of my first name and is short. It'll take awhile to get used to.
