I am so bored!!!! I literally have not a thing to do at work right now! The worst part is that i have to work on Monday too which is going to be even worse! Actually, apparently I have to work EVERY holiday from now on because our company doesn't offer paid holidays any more... Is that even legal? I need a new job

I think it is legal since it is a right to work state or whatever the F that means LMAO! what about the right to NOT work on a holiday and get paid for it! hahahahaha
I feel your pain though as far as today goes, i ran out of work at 7:30 am
i work in legal. i dont remeber too much about hr law since i was more interested in med mal/wrongful death/fda stuff but for what i remember the 'paid holidays' depends on the industry. like retail & truck drivers normally dont have any paid holidays. i would def look into that if i were you...(i'll ask round my office)
unfortunatly i believe that is legal. although i agree it is crap. you shouldn't have to work on holidays. this is when working for yourself come in handy.
