My dad is turning 67 and we normally do not do much for his birthday. He says "no more birthdays", but is completely tickled when someone puts something together for him. Normally we just go out to breakfast or dinner and call it good. This year though, I'd like to have an actual party for him since he is essentially retired and is able to take time and enjoy things.
DH and I are paying for he and my mom to go to Ireland for 10 days. They have been wanting to go ever since I can remember and have never had the chance.
I am thinking as far as the party goes, outside, lunch time, with probably 30 people. I have tenting available for use if the weather goes bad.
