Conundrum

So one month and three days and I'll be moving to the big city.  I'm having trouble though finding a way to get my dog to join me.  All the airlines I've checked for shipping him are a 12 hour 3-layover day and I don't really want to subject him to that.  Does anyone have any other suggestions at all??

Re: Conundrum

  • Where are you moving from?  When we moved here, we drove cross country so we didn't have to put up with the headache of shipping them on the plane.  It took a while, but it was the best option.

  • Have you looked at petairways? I think is the name of the airline that is specific for pets, I saw it in Shape Magazine I think. Or i would drive.
  • Well, I live in Canada and DF lives in St. Charles (Boo to long distance engagements!).  We're both flying and meeting in Vegas for the wedding and then flying back to STL, so unfortunately driving is out of the question right now.  The good news is that DeltaCargo can do it inexpensively and in a reasonable time frame.  I will definately check out pet airways too though.

    Thanks guys!
