Sunburn :(

HH and I were out in the yard for a few hours working on our "garden" (aka weed pile).  I managed to clear an entire section, then we came in and fell asleep on the couch.  Woke up feeling sick to my stomach, and sure enough...crazy sunburn.  But not on my face or arms, oh no.  I definitely have one long strip on my lower back, where I obviously didn't apply sunscreen, as I thought my shirt was long enough.  I guess not when I was bent over pulling weeds!  Dammit.

I feel your pain. We were out on our boat today.  I had on sunscreen but apparently not enough on my pasty white thighs.  My upper thighs are burned now.

ouch that sucks! I have never been burned. I turn red for like an hour and then its gone. take some tylenol and buy some aloe!

One day on the beach i forgot the sunblock in my ears and my feet... i had difficultus wearing shoes for weeks!!! and well, i didn?t fix my hair either...

ouch!  my HH races cars so we were out at the track today.  i wore long pants and long sleeves to avoid the sun but still got burned... on the TOPS OF MY HANDS.  they are super swollen, ridiculously itchy, and hurt like hell.  the tops of my hands? really?  argh.

AshleyAnne, that has happened to me and it SUCKS.  Plus you kind of feel like a mutant with these huge swollen hands.  At least I did.  I'm not saying you're a mutant.

I get the worst sunburns, so I am now a master at putting on sunscreen. I know all the spots that typically get forgotten, and I DONT FORGET THEM! HAhaha. 2 years ago I stayed out in the sun and on a boat all day with no sunscreen whatsoever. I had blisters my burns were so bad. My skin was peeling off in sheets. Brandon would slather me in aloe, wrap me in the softest blanket we could find, and I would just lay there totally still and try to sleep without moving. It was so painful. I have scars from it.
