cleaning a macbook...

I have had a macbook pro for about 1 year.  No complains whatsoever--- except I have managed to get my keyboard kind of "greasy" looking.  I always put on lotion obsessively, and this has made my keyboard icky looking.  Any suggestions on how to clean this?  THANKS!

DD uses my PowerBook to watch movies on and it gets absolutely filthy. I just spray windex on a cloth and wipe it off (lid, screen, keyboard, etc.)

  • My husband is a tech and uses a screen cleaner that you can get from Best Buy, CompUSA, ect. or use a mild soap. I would not suggest using Windex because the ammonia eats away at the LCD panel d (it's very corrosive). Do not use it on your tv or any other electronic either. Hope this helps!
  • DH uses the cleaner and dust-free wipe that came with my glasses...
