Success!

I have several friends who, upon finding out I'm into vermiculture, all want to start their own bins. The problem with living on an island with a closed ecosystem though is that people can pretty much charge whatever they want for worms. I paid $40 a lb when I first started, but the breeder I found moved off island. The only worms I can find? $160 a fvcking lb. Suffice it to say none of my friends have started a bin yet.

Well, guess what new booth just arrived at my farmers market? They even offer education classes! And they only charge $40 a lb for the worms too, so I'm super excited to tell everyone this week to get their bins started NOW haha.

  • Aw, the joys of living on an island! I'm jealous that you have a farmer's market, my next island better have one!
