yellow leaves on tomato plant

My cherry tomato plants (planted in baskets) have started to go very yellow.   The fruit seems to be thriving, but the greenery is suffering from something.

These are hanging right beside the large tomato plnts that are planted in my raised bed and the large tomato plants seem to be fine.

Re: yellow leaves on tomato plant

  • I'm having the same problem, and I think its that the hanging baskets are too small for mine. It seems like whenever we get a little sun, they do better, and when I water them extra, they do better. I just think they are struggling to get the nutrition they need. I've been giving mine compost tea. Hopefully with that, and the fact that we finally have some sun, mine will do better. The ones I have in the ground are thriving too, its just my plants in the hanging basket that are struggling.
