Do aphids infest soil or plants only?
I lost a plant to aphids and I'm wondering if I can reuse the soil in the pot, or if it is now considered "contaminated"?
Re: Do aphids infest soil or plants only?
Most types of aphids live their entire life cycle on the foliage and never touch the soil.
Here's more aphid info:

Have you seen my monkey?
I had to tackle the problem and I reused the soil. You can buy organic spray stuff to prevent aphids from killing your plants or buy ladybugs. I was surprised to find them for sale at the Hydophonics store. Good luck!
