Can anyone recommend an all natural, pet and kid safe spider repellant?

DD gets bit by spiders at night.  I really don't want to spray a bunch of chemicals around her but I have to so something.  She woke up with several new bites this morning.  It happened the same time last year to her as well.  Apparently the spiders love her and her room.

  • It's fairly rare for spiders to bite, but one effective means of preventing spiders is by vacuuming the corners of all the rooms, etc. and as much of the attic/basement/etc. as you can.  It's not very fun for the spiders, but it is chemical free, cheap and easy.

  • Rosemary is a natural insect repellent.  I'm not sure how you'd apply this to your house, but our pest control company has an organic rosemary based spray that they spray on our baseboards.
