Quickie Survey: I use Dr. Bronner's for...
I'm curious about the uses of Dr. B's and thought this would be a nice quick and dirty poll/survey...
- Do you use Dr. B's castille soap? For?
- Do you use other Dr. B products? For?
I like the idea of using a single multipurpose product--less packaging. I'll have to look around Dallas to see where it's the least expensive.
Re: Quickie Survey: I use Dr. Bronner's for...
1. NA
2. Liquid soaps, for handwashing, in foaming pumps--both bathrooms and kitchen.

I'm with you on loving having a do-it-all product!
I use Dr. B's peppermint castile soap (liquid) for insecticidal spray for the garden and in homemade cleaners. I also use it for hand washing and plan to use it for showering once I run out of the bar soaps I stocked up on last year. I want to try it on my hair as well as I think the oils in it would be really good for my dry scalp.
I haven't tried any of their other products.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over!
i use the bar soap in my laundry detergent
liquid in many of my homemade cleaners
CarrieB I'm sorry you had a bad experience with a Dr. B's sales rep. However, is the WF brand of castille soap organic, fair trade, SLS-free, and certified not tested on animals like Dr. B's? I seriously doubt it. Those are the reasons I keep buying Dr. B's. We use the bar soap in the shower, liquid soap in hand dispensers, and peppermint liquid soap as an insecticidal soap in the garden. Next up is laundry detergent!
Can the lavendar one be used as an insecticide for the garden or only peppermint?
To use as bodywash, do u use it straight or mix it with water (if so how much)?
1. I use liquid castile soap in our soap dispenser in the bathroom. I used a bar of lavender soap to make our last batch of laundy detergent.
2. I haven't used any other Dr. B products.
#1: Everything I've read says peppermint for insecticidal soap. My guess is the peppermint EO is not something bugs like.
#2: The Dr. B's FAQs says:
For everyday body-washing: Get wet and pour soap full-strength onto hands-washcloth-loofah. Lather up, scrub down, rinse off, and tingle fresh and clean.
1- body wash
general cleanser w/ diluted vinegar
2- don't use other products
