How was everyone's Holiday weekend?

Mine was a lot of fun - I have a new respect for New Jersey. We met up with our friends - one of them from Nebraska (we know him from college) and his girlfriend who has always lived in NJ. Saturday we went to their favorite winery in the state and then did a 4 mile loop hike to a lake that was nice for swimming. Sunday we spend half the day at Long Beach Island.

Mine was ok....I worked =(  Sunday we wnt and hung out at my dad's, but other than that nothing much.

We didn't do much of anything... Finished painting the walls in our MB, cleaned all the trim for painting, but never started that.  Did some outside work, moved around some boxes, bought furniture for the den..

And cooked.  And Holy Cow is it hot!!!

Mine sorta blew.  We had no plans, really...which I was bummed about.  I hate staying home on long weekends being bored, but it turned out it was a good thing.  This heatwave is giving me constant migraines.  So, hubby and I did a lot of hanging out in the central air and watching movies.  I enjoyed our time together but I could have done w/o the head pain.

We went to the beach Friday - Sunday and ate and drank too much but had a great time. Then we went to a party Sunday to drink and eat some more and watch the fireworks. It was a very good weekend but would have been a lot better if I didn't have to work Monday.

On Saturday night we went to our friends house to watch the Lesner/Carwin fight, which was good. I really don't like Lesner but I knew he was going to win... he's just too big! lol. Our weekend was pretty low key, which I enjoyed. We went to my IL's for a bbq on Sunday - my parents came also, and then on Sunday evening we went back to my parents house & hung out swimming and in the jacuzzi.Yesterday we basically just bummed around all day, did a little grocery shopping, nothing too big. I love long weekends!

HI ladies! Ours was pretty cool. Didn't do much Friday b/c knew Saturday was gonna be a long day. Went to the parade and lasted until the fireworks (which was longer than I though I'd last, lol)

It was my sister's 10 year reunion, so it was awesome to see her and all of her friends that I haven't seen in a long time. It went by way too fast, plus, I had to work yesterday but we got out super early
