Re: Please post restaurant recommendations!
If you like Thai, there is a wonderful hole-in-the wall place on Rte 101A called Thon Kao (in a plaza across from Bldg 19). I mention it because I am enjoying some leftover "mango fried rice" right now for lunch!
In that same plaza, there is also a wonderful small italian place called Cucina Toscana that I adore.
My recommendations for Manchester:
You can't go wrong with Cotton. Great atmosphere, drinks and food. They bill themselves as gourmet comfort food. I've never had a meal there I didn't love. www.cottonfood.com.
For Italian, Piccola Italia is good but DH and I feel their food has gone slightly downhill recently. www.piccolaitalianh.com
If you like Indian, India Palace on S. Willow Street is awesome. www.indiapalacenh.com
For Mexican, La Caretta on Hooksett Road. www.lacarettamexican.com
For steak, the Hanover Street Chop House is amazing. Pricey, but amazing. www.hanoverstreetchophouse.com
If you want a great wine list and light food, Unwined is very cool too. www.unwined.net
Ditto everything she said. And I would add C.R. Sparks in Bedford and The Common Man in Merrimack.
