Right now weather.com says it's 99 feels like 104. This time last year we hadn't even put our ACs in because it didn't really get hot enough until the middle of July. It's funny how things change year to year.

I am so grateful we have central AC... I don't know what I would be doing without it right now.

I don't know if I will ever forget June 2009.  It was the gloomiest start to summer EVER.

I'm so glad I'm inside today. Our AC has been on since beginning of June! I'd love to open the windows one of these days!

Remember June last summer? I was so glad I had my husky foster that month and not July last year because it was so rainy and chilly all of June.

No kidding, there was SO much rain!  I remember trying to prepare myself for the disappointment that my wedding (July 18) would have to be moved inside.  Fortunately it turned out to be nice & sunny, and the rest of the summer was decent.

I can't believe all the rain was already a year ago.  Time flies faster and faster.

This year all the rain was concentrated over a few days at the end of March and beginning of April. In return for not having a whole month of rain we got a lot of flooding instead. Traffic on Rt.2 was so bad because 117 was closed.
