Or romantic place that serves a really good steak, preferably a prime rib! Our wedding anniversary is next week and we've decided to just go out for dinner. Willing to spend $100-$150 on dinner, nothing too gourmet/fancy- we like simple, good food. We were thinking some place like Ruth Chris, Flemings, etc. but I want to hear real opinions. TIA!
Re: Rec. a great steakhouse
I don't know how you feel about chains (this is a smaller chain, but a chain nonetheless...)
I LOVE Firebirds. Specifically, the chile rubbed Delmonico steak is sooooooo yummy! And the last time I was there we got the ranch rings for an appetizer (I think?), and they were really tasty! The chicken tortilla soup is really good. And I'm sure their fancier appetizers are good also, but the ranch rings were the only one I've tried.
Mortons. The Filet Oskar is just amazing, hello filet with lump crab on top. And the sides are to die for. Very intimate, very delicious.

ETA: I can't remember the exact phrasing, BUT...Ask for the presentation when ordering (I think thats it).
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
besides Mortons I would also recommend the Keg. The have awsome prime rib. very nice setting and tell them it's your anniversary and you'll get free dessert too.
